Relationship coaching is a professional, non-therapy, client-focused service for individuals or couples working on relationship goals. In this process, the individual or couple is assumed to be healthy, resourceful, and able to achieve relationship goals through effective support, information, and guidance. Coaching and therapy are significantly different, and sometimes even contrast in methodology.
Am I living the romantic life I want?
Is my relationship mutually satisfying?
Am I able to show up for my partner in a loving and trusting way?
Do I have a hard time being open and/or honest with my partner?
Do I keep falling in and out of love with my partner?
Do I always feel like running away from conflict?
Do I share goals and/or vision with my partner.
If you answered NO, to any of these questions, relationship coaching could be a good fit for you. These are only some of the questions that you can ask yourself to determine if relationship coaching could work for you.
As a coach, Greg Beckham believes that you already have all of the resources you need to create a loving, lasting and fulfilling relationship. The real question is – do YOU know they are there? And do you USE them?
This is where Greg comes in. Greg is not a therapist or counselor. Greg is a coach. As such, Greg works with individuals or couples to uncover or better utilize their own powerful personal resources to achieve relationship goals to create a loving, fulfilling relationship.
There are areas in your life where the way you feel and what you believe about yourself, who you are and how you show up in the world, create behaviors and circumstances that can block intimacy in your life.
Perhaps your parents divorced when you were young, or perhaps you were abused in some way that now hinders your ability to be vulnerable or trust. Whatever the case, there is a limiting belief behind it that makes you respond the way you do. That limiting belief can be changed.
This is not therapy or couples counseling. We are working on external solutions to overcome barriers, learn new skills and implement effective choices in order achieve relationship goals. What you will do is create new and healthy beliefs about yourself that support the kind of person you want to be, so that you can have the kind of relationship that will fulfill your heart and soul.
